Last month we spent a fun crazy day at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. We went to both parks (Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure), rode as many rides as possible (thanks to the Express Pass!) and tried all the fun food we could find. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Was So Magical
We started at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios. Oh my gosh, this was such an amazing place. If you are a Harry Potter fan, this is a must! I felt transported directly to Diagon Alley. There’s even a wand shop that looks just like Ollivanders in the movies. You can buy a wand here that actually works in certain locations throughout the park where you can literally make magic happen!
The Simpson’s Area Has Amazing Donuts
Next we went to the Simpson’s area — this is where all the fun donuts are! They actually taste amazing. Check out Lard Lad for all the fun donut creations!!
Wow! What great looking things you got your teeth into. I’m a Disney fan and visit Orlando yearly. I think it is time to go to the far end of Universal Drive and visit Universal. I did take my sister there to Bubba Gump for her birthday, then in to see Blue Man Group. Both fun things to do.
Are you fans of dim sum? I know it is Americanized, but Ming Garden on the Drive has an interesting collection of these tasty tidbits.
Awww, you’re making me think I missed out bigtime on Universal studios when I was in Orlando 3 months ago! We did the Disney circuit and we hit it hard but this food looks pretty awesome. Actually, I thought the DIsney food was overrated and way overpriced! ALthough I think Disney would be a pretty awesome last name =)
I haven’t been to Orlando/Disney/Universal since I was around 5 years old. I really want to go soon, especially for Harry Potter! Your food choices look incredible!
